SWITZERLAND: INTERNATIONAL TRAINING CAMP GREEN BRANCH
47 chiefs from France, Switzerland and Poland participated in the International Training Camp for the Green Branch in St. Maurice, Switzerland from 21 to 28 February 2010. The camp was directed by David Sanchez, Switzerland General Commissioner and Cyril Mounier from the French National Team. Instead of snow and strong winter there were a lot of sun and warm weather. The camp was a fantastic example of how the style and the whole atmosphere of the camp could be driven by the Expression: Songs and Theater. The Polish participants got a strong reputation for taking a bath in a very cold mountain river.
The participants visited the famous St Maurice Monastery (www.abbaye-stmaurice.ch), funded in 515, guided personally by the Abbot himself, member of the Swizterland Episcopal Conference. The Alps, the proximity of St Maurice place of martyrdom, the internationality of the participants and their good spirit, the charismatic leadership of David and Cyril, all these contributed to give an unforgettable spirit to this camp. The participants have already created a special web page dedicated to this camp. It seems that next year our Union will also benefit from this high quality green branch international formation camp. BELGIUM: CHIEFS CLAN WEEKEND
More than 40 chiefs from Belgium participated in the annual Chiefs Clan Weekend in Alsace, France, held from 19 to 21 February. Belgian Chiefs invited to their weekend chiefs from other countries. It was organised by the National Team of Marie-Charlotte Jones (on the photo, the second from the right), Belgian Rangers National Commissioner. BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA: PERSPECTIVES FOR OUR SCOUTING
The Italian chiefs from Ancona and Ceggia, who are working for Caritas and go from time to time to Bosnia and Herzegovina, were asked by the catholic community of Mostar to help establish Scouts of Europe units in their city. Bosnia and Herzegovina is a Federation of three communities: Bosniac musulmans, Serbian orthodox and Croate catholics. Let's pray for the intention of the creation of FSE in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
CZECH REPUBLIC: STARTING IN MORAVA
Uherskie Hradiste is a city of 26,000 inhabitants in Morava Region, the eastern part of Cech Republic. Morava is a very catholic region. Till now Scouts of Europe were not present there. From November 2009, Ondrej Bohac, our Cech General Commissioner, got into the contact with a very interesitng group of young students from Uherskie Hradiste, during the week studying in Brno, the Morava capital, 75 km from Uherskie Hradiste.
Last weekend Ondrej was in Uherskie to meet with the initiative group which will start to prepare the launch of our group there.

POLAND: 40 FREE PATROLS OF SCOUTS-NEW TROOPS IN KIELCE AND CRACOW
Michal Palamarz from Warsaw, Pawel Sowa from Wroclaw and Leszek Piatek from Lublin are the leaders of the Polish Free Patrols Net. They have already 40 patrols, namely in Central Poland, in South-West and in the Lublin Region. Recently they celebrated the creation of two troops coming from Free Patrols: 1st Cracow and 1st Kielce (on the photo patrol of Bat from this troop). The patrol of Bat took so entusiam to sell the calendars that they already bought their first great camp tent of 9 persons. What an adventure.
